The Argentine driver Franco Colapinto is preparing to compete in the Brazilian Grand Prix of Formula 1, which will be his sixth race of the season. Colapinto has participated in the Grands Prix of Italy, Azerbaijan, Singapore, the United States, and Mexico, consistently placing outside the top twelve in each competition.

The upcoming weekend will be challenging for Colapinto, as he will have only one practice session before the qualifying for the Sprint race, which will take place on Saturday. The circuit hosting the Grand Prix is the José Carlos Pace Autodrome, also known as Interlagos, with a length of 4.309 kilometers and 15 corners. The lap record at this circuit is held by Valtteri Bottas with a time of 1:10.540.

One of the most iconic sections of Interlagos is the main straight leading into the famous "S of Senna," proposed by legendary Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna during a renovation of the circuit.

Regarding the history of victories in the Brazilian Grand Prix, the driver with the most wins is Alain Prost with six victories, followed by Michael Schumacher with four. Carlos Reutemann, Sebastian Vettel, and Lewis Hamilton have won the race three times.

In his participation in Formula 1 so far, Colapinto has scored points by finishing eighth in Azerbaijan and tenth in the United States. Additionally, he has finished twelfth in Italy and Mexico, and eleventh in Singapore, showing notable consistency that has sparked the interest of teams such as Sauber (soon to be Audi) and Racing Bulls, who are reportedly in talks for his incorporation.
